My dad's rung and said that he's sold my Morris Traveller for £200... feeling quite sad actually about that but i guess it makes sense *sigh*
I bought her in 1997 and for the past few years she's been in the garage we rent from the council as I didn't have the dosh to do her up.
I slept in her (the back seats recline) in Blenhiem Palace for the 50 year Moggie Rallie
we had mad adventures, when I was doing my GCSE Astronomy over in Cardiff Uni she took me there every week
good days!
Guys coming tomorrow, he nearly snapped my Dad's arm off apparently at the amount Dad said... *sigh* I really do hope that the guy does her up and makes her look nice
Aye as per the title, remember me as Megan28??? Megan is my morris - it was given to her by her original owners
I spotted the advert in the yellow free ads and me and dad whipped to Cardiff - the big big city!!! LOL!
Found the street and paid a pricey sum for her
not saying how much but basically the wood needed replaceing. The previous owners whispered her name to me
Now I don't know whether you know anything about Morris Minor Travellers but their frame is part wood, part metal. The wood is Canadian Ash VERY expensive to buy. The kit to replace the wood 5 years ago was nearly £3,000.
That's minus a decent garage with a pulley and whinch system to hold the back end roof of the vehicle up (if your doing it yourself)
To send it to Bath would cost mega... I reckon knocking on £10,000 as they'd do it properly (that's with labour and VAT)

Life just got in the way...
I planned to do all this 10 years ago and it didn't happen...
so later I need to get the paperwork and stuff together for the guy.
Time, it marches on doesn't it....
Time to say goodbye to her I suppose,
