Moonstone Properties

No we all know I'm abit of a crystal fan!

What came to my mind this morning was one particular not really exciting ring, however the stone is this....

Moonstone - The energy of moonstone is balancing, introspective, reflective, and lunar. It is capable of helping one with the changing structures of ones life on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Once called the travelers stone it is used for protection against the perils of travel. Moonstone is also a talisman of GOOD FORTUNE. It is also said to both arouse tenderness within the self and to bring happiness to the environment in which it resides.

I have a lovely moonstone ring, had it since i was 16, still wear it today.

Moonstone is great for womens problems, it is the ladies stone. I sometimes sleep holding a piece of moonstone in each hand when i feel i need to. Its known to help with pms, water retention suffered around that time and period pains/cramps.

It is a lovely stone to have, i picked up a piece of green moonstone at the last rock and gem festival, its really beautiful though i dont know a lot about it, how it differs from the ordinary moonstone. Have you any information on green moonstones?

  I think it was more an emotional balancer, something an issue that came up fro me recently. I use malachite for women's problems

    I love malachite, have a big lump of it in front of my pc monitor all the time, its a lovely raw piece i picked up in St Ives. It looks like a crab with a smily face.

  wonderful!! moonstones were ones that i have abit of a block towards, so it's unusual for me to gravitate towards this, maybe i should wear more often

I have a little satchel full of gem stones.Some are over 200 years old,handed over from one generation to the next in my family.
The trouble is that i like all the gemstones,but cant use them.I can have one or two rings in my hand,but i cant have 10 rings.

  Oooh lovely!! I know what you mean, i wear bracelets, a necklace and afew rings.
  
  I usually think of what is 'drawing' me today each morning, and put the stone in my pocket or wear a piece of jewellery with it on, it seems to work

I meditated on some of this last night.

    Was this to me? I'm not sure.
    If so don't worry about it. I've been working with them for years and I should know better. I was just so relieved to stop camping out in the bathroom. It was rather boring in there, can't read or knit, can't really do anything except for singing to experiment with the acoustics. Which got rather boring quite rapidly.

      meditation is a fabulous thing just for relaxing, I like the cd's you can get in waterstones or whsmith etc., which are guided nice to listen too and visualise! X

I have hardly any meditation cd's and its always something I wouldn't mind more of. Can you reccomend any?

I have a fantastic one somewhere with quartz crystal singing bowls in the background.

  in the melie of my bedroom there is a three meditation cd, one is a walk in the forrest, another is to an oasis and the other is to a meadow i'll dig out the name and ping you wiht the detials!! X
